resonating with the soul of revolution."
Reviews and Comments:
"ZP is one of those musicals I woke up the next day singing and wanting to see again and again and again......Not one for words, I was nevertheless so moved and so changed by your musical, I am compelled to express thoughts....Occupy happened – ZP might belong to our national literature."
Matt, actor from another show
"I learned more about the reasons this movement came about in 90 minutes than I could have imagined. And, I learned it all through the power and beauty of music, song and dance."

"What I saw tonight was the most heartfelt, raw and poignant show I have seen in a VERY long time. The young cast had poured it's heart and soul into this work, and there was NOT a false note either sung or said during the whole night. Luis Salgado looked deep into the work and created images and moments that were powerful, touching, and literally had me in tears 3 times during the night. The music is BEAUTIFUL, and flowing and breathes life into the characters as their words flow into song, and spoken conversation."

"What an amazing achievement! It is a wonderful musical from the beginning to the end. You sit and time flies... This musical can go anywhere for years to come. Bravissimo" Festival judge, Franco Moschetti
"I really enjoyed Zuccotti Park. I also did understand more in those 90 mins than all days of the protest. Love the fact that it's a call to action and to stand up for whatever you believe in. It left me speechless and with so much I wanted to say. Can't find the exact words to describe it. It's like a little spark with full potential to be a full blown explosion for change, aka: I can clearly see it on Broadway soon :) I Like that it makes us ask ourself to be more passionate about things that we believe in."

" I believe this piece has the potential to be more than just about the movement at Zuccotti Park. What struck me was the idea of having a “loyalty to the truth.” ...Overall this is a wonderful foundation for a piece that has the potential to really inspire and engage many. Congratulations!"
Festival judge, Amy E. Witting
"In the spirit of productions like Rent and Hair, Zuccotti Park is a welcome addition to the musical that cares. As you walk into the theater, you are bombarded with a cornucopia of guitar-wielding and protest sign-lugging beautiful people as they shout, “We are the 99 percent!” Easily the liveliest of the productions, Zuccotti Park (book/lyrics by Catherine Hurd, music by Vatrena King) follows the Occupy movement in its early inception and the many narratives that echo a “People work their ass off and cannot pay the rent” refrain.

"Many good songs, especially the money song."

"Tonight I saw Zuccotti Park the Musical. And it was GOOD. True to the spirit of Occupy. And FUN. I recommend it in good conscience to all my fellow Occupiers of yore. It's worth it". David Sauvage, Founder of Occupy.com
"I loved the work. It's amazing how you get to do so much with so little, and how effective it is when the direction of a text is based on truth honesty, and emotions are focused on the real experiences of the human being (as it applies and impact everyone - without prejudice, preconceptions or agendas), the result is extraordinary! The work is focused on a very huge in the love for the craft and humanity, and I'm deeply touched" - Javier E. Gomez (Translated to English form original review in Spanish)
